Happy Easter to everyone, I hope yours was eventful as mine. I got this morning good, showered, got ready for church and started out on the 30 minute drive toward my church. Church was very good today. It's like everyone "steps up their game" for Easter Sunday. The choir was amazing, the pastor's message was great, and the church was packed. Today the message was being obedient to God and we talked about how obedience is another word for faith. It was a very powerful message the way it was all tied together. After church I came home to find that my father cooked dinner and it was scrumptious. So now I am fat and happy, but I still got room for desert therefore I shall go have some.

It was indeed a Good Friday
So I get to work today and there is only ONE person there when I arrive at 7am. So I set around for about 2 hours just fixing some small things on the site that I've been wanting to correct but have never had the time AT WORK to fix. So I fix the small stuff and start researching how to tie pdf forms into a database. Its something I've wanted to learn for a while, but now I can see where it'd be useful to know, so I'm taking it upon myself to learn it. My boss finally gets in shortly after I've made the corrections to the site and we decided we needed to make a trip to RadioShack to get a couple of cables, but first we decided to grub. So we went to a gathering his family was having for Easter and it was wonderful. It was indeed a TRUE celebration of Easter. The children explained to the adults the why we have Easter and why it's important to celebrate it. Even my boss's two year old daughter knew why we celebrated Easter. It was great to see an uncommercial Easter celebration. That made my day. So after the celebration we left to go to RadioShack and then back to work. It was definitely a good day. Happy Easter Everyone

Another day in RTP
Today I went to RTP, to observe a demostration by Oracle on grid computing. I learned alot about 10g works and what we can use it for. The seminar lasted for about 4 hours and I actually got to see how they install it and configure it. It was a very effective presentation. After the seminar, we of course had to go eat. It was a good trip, it was way better than the last trip to Raleigh where we were stuck in traffic for 7 hours.
Well next week is spring break and I will get to relax. It sucks that I have to work on good Friday, but at least I get that time off. I need to make some plans for next week, but I don't know what exactly I should do. But for now, it's time for food. Later

Be Cool
So I finally got to go to the movies and see "Be Cool" and it was HAAWWT! It was a very funny movie. I can't believe how many talented actors/actresses were in that movie. There were a lot of cameos as well Aerosmith, Kobe Bryant, Danny Devito, etc. I thought the guys that went with me would be clueless because they hadn't seen "Get Shorty", which is kind of the prequel to "Be Cool", but even if you hadn't seen "Get Shorty" you wouldn't be lost at all. The story line is not at all contingent on knowing anything about the movie "Get Shorty." I have to say I was very proud of the acting jobs of Andre 3000 and The Rock. They did a really great job with their characters. I actually thought of them as actors and not as a rap artist and a wrestler. Finally the Rock played in a movie and didn't have to slam someone. Ok enough about the movie, time for bed.

You have seven days...
Yeah so I definitely went to see the Ring 2 tonight, because I was definitely in the mood for a scary movie. The previews for the most part sucked, but the movie was great. One movie I want to see is called "The Eye." It may be another "villiage" like production, but I may go see it anyway. Yeah so back to the Ring 2, I heard more screams this movie than the last one, but I also heard more laughs. It actually had some funny parts, or it may have seemed funnier because Kat and I were crackin jokes the whole night along with the rest of the audience. It was almost like being at ECU's theater again. Some of the funnier commentary from the audience included:
"Run bitch run!"
"Is he masterbating"
"Oh that dude's gonna die" *of course I said twice to that*
"She's hot."
"What am I gonna do about my legs Charlie Murphy" *that was me*
"Dude her nipples are hard" *some idiot on the 8th row*
"I want to watch that" the 4 year old sitting beside me and Kat
Who takes a 4 year old and a 2 year old to see a scary movie? Anyway they were good. That was the only major comment the both of them made.
And that was all worth mentioning from the audience.
So tomorrow I think I am going to see "Be Cool" and I have got to once again hit up Coldstone, which has now been initialized as..."The Stone" So if you hear me talking about hitting the stone, it's not a drug it's the new ice place where I live. For now...it's bed time.

Is it Friday yet?
So the week is coming to an end and it's been a good one. This has been such a easy week. I love my job, actually I should say jobs. I have been having so much fun at work and still getting a lot done. Tomorrow I am going to design a help desk page for NCWISE for our district, update 28 laptops, and then have "training" in the lab. For those that don't know what "training" means during the month of march (it's code for watching the ACC tournament (Go Heels) on the projector, who needs a 52 inch HD TV when you have a HD projector and a long @$$ wall.) I might have to order a pizza for training tomorrow. For those of you who haven't looked at the last site that I designed for work go here and if you want to see what it used to look like go here. Work has been going well on my second job as well. I am working for a company called Networking Essentials doing consultanting....which is basically what I do at my main job.
So this weekend, I am definitely going to the movies, hitting up coldstone yet again, and making time to do the 24 hr race on GT4 (I heard it REALLY takes 24hrs, but I won't believe it till I see it). I really should try to get up with some of my peeps from ECU that are home on break this weekend. That would be hot. I really need to work on my own site. It's a shame, I am a web designer and I use a public blogger. My site would look so much hotter than this one and I could update using...get this....excel. Wait til I start on it and get it up. It's going to be beyond hot...there will be nothing lukewarm about this one. Ok enough being arrogant, even though I insist it's just being confident.
Some things I am looking forward to coming up:
Oracle Training class March 22nd in Raleigh
My spring break March 25th-March 30th no plans as of yet
Road trip to Charlotte April 1st for sure
and last but not least going to sleep...which I will do now

Training is so important
Today work was really good. We fixed a bunch of small problems all before 10 a.m. A few minutes before 11 we went to lunch and grubbed at KFC, and then my boss announced that we'd be doing training for the rest of the day. We have a training lab downtown for our teachers and faculty. It's a very nice facility, and what's even better is that we got a new projector not too long ago, and that's what we were training on today. Rather than use a computer to test out the quality of our project and all of it's many features, we decided to hook up the cable to it and watch...I mean examine the quality of the projector playing the Carolina vs Clemson game. I have to say I was much impressed with the results of the projector and the game. By the time the game was over it was about time to go home so I left. I went home and played Tekken 5 and unlocked all the characters, got bored with that and went from 8 % to 14% on Gran Turismo 4. I was planning on hanging out with the guys tonight, but I was just too tired to go out at 11pm. I am getting old. :(

What a great combination
Today was just one of those ok days....you know one of those days where nothing goes wrong, but nothing goes great either. So to make things go somewhat better, I decided to buy Tekken 5 because nothing cheers me up better than a new high quality video game. So I go to EB games to buy Tekken 5 and what do I notice while I am there? The new COLDSTONE is open!!! I have been waiting for Coldstone to come to my town and now it's finally open. I really wanted to stop in and get ice cream after I bought my game, but the line was out the door into the parking lot. It was crazy, just like when the Coldstone in Greenville opened. So rather than get icream today I'll get it tomorrow night when I go out with the fellas.

What a great weekend
I finally made it home. This weekend was great. It was great finally getting to meet J-Dy's peeps. He has a wonderful family, they made me feel right at home. In recent news, today we (J-Dy and D) went to the Carolina Ale House to celebrate J-Dy's b-day and watch the Carolina Duke game. I thought we were going to get kicked out, but everybody was loud so it was all good. The food was great, and I have to say that was the first time I ever had a Fried Snickers bar...."It was HAWT." I hope to have one again soon.
Highlights from the weekend
Meeting J-Dy's folks and Dereck
Singing you are the love of my life in the parking lot of Olive Garden with D
J-Dy's Pantala Naga Pampa ring tone for his phone and bluetooth headset (SO HAWT)
Mr. Dy's "pimp my ride" collection
Staying up til 3am laughing at movies with my cousin
Seeing Moink,Krit, Curtis, and Greg
and this conversation....
J-DY:....yeah I'm only in the mood to see a movie if it is good.
Me: "Be cool"
J-DY: Yeah it would be cool to see a good movie.
Me: No fool let's go see the movie "Be cool."
J-DY: Oooh that movie.....

Friday.....
This weekend is going hawt. The only thing it has in common with the rusty bicycle that is being stored in my garage is that it too....is off the chain. Tonight we hit up Olive Garden in Raleigh to celebrate J-Dy's 23rd birthday. There were cameo appearances from Tim aka Spencer, Delane (his royal fatness), MOINK, Dereck, and of course J-Dy himself. I wish Karla would have came, but it's all good we will go to Greenville to see her. After getting fat at Olive Garden and almost getting kicked out, we went to see Krit at her job and I finally got to meet Greg who is an awesome cat. After that, we went to J-Dys and crashed.

This weekend will be great like a bowl of Frosted Flakes
It's almost the weekend, therefore it is all good. This weekend I am going to Raleigh to celebrate Josh's 23rd year of existance and after this week, it's definitely needed. I have had a great week, but its just been busy. Its seems that even when I am not at work, I am working on something for work. I am glad that I have a job that I don't mind working. So about this weekend....yeah it's going to be hot. In honor of the fun I am going to have, I have written a few lines of poetry that was meant to remind you of the "Night before Christmas." Enjoy
'Twas the night before Friday, and everyone in my house
Was watching TV, even though the cable was out
Snoop was on TV, with his hands in the air
Waving them all around, and it was ME who didn't care
The c00se was nestled all snug in his bed
while visions of food rolled through his head
Tomorrow we will be at Olive Garden, no doubt of that
Me, D, Josh, and Spencer.... ALL.. getting fat. "

You've been a wonderful audience, good night :)
