Chicago

Chicago was great. For those of you who didn't know my job flew me to Chicago for a week for training in Identity Management. I won't go into the long boring details of what IDM is because the people that read my blog already know what it is or wouldn't quite comprehend it if I told them. I did have a great time in Chicago though, a lot of great food, met some pretty intelligent people. I wish I was actually able to site see more, but class lasted for 8 to 9 hours a day. I did get to do one good night on the town. It was actually the night the White Sox won the series. I had a wonderful time. I went to the Handcock Tower. I saw a 360 Modena in person and a Phaeton. It was a great night. Well that's all for Chicago.

New York

"Start spreading the news...I'm leaving next week. I want to be apart of it Ne"...wait the tickets say Chicago. Yeah, so I am definitely going to Chicago for training. I am going to get trained on Identity Management which uses XML. So basically I am going to learn how to do something useful with XML. All I know is I get to go to Chicago for 4 days all expenses paid. I like my job :) I'll talk more about this later, but now it's time for food.

Ba dap ba ba baaa...I'm lovin it

Yeah, so ever since I got picked to be on the McDonald's bag, girls have been coming at me left and right. I entered a contest where you send in a picture so it can be put on a McDonald's bag. I didn't know it was going to printed in my home town. It's a wonderful thing. You guys can admire the bag yourself because here it is.

I was walking in the mall last week and some girl had a McDonald's bag with my picture on it and was like, "Hey isn't this you?" and I was like "Yeah." I thought she was going to ask me for my number, but she just laughed and walked away. lol I guess I am not that popular. Well at least she didn't say that my face belonged on a milk carton instead of a McDonald's bag. Well it's off to sleep for now ~ Late

What's new?

Last weekend was a pretty good weekend, even though it didn't go as planned. I was supposed to hang out with the fellas in the ville, grub it up, play some Halo 2, and go watch a scary movie, but that didn't happen. Instead I ended up getting lost in the whole first season of "Lost", doing laundry, and cleaning up my room and of course Sunday I went to church and that was great. We had homecoming this past Sunday and it was incredible; I enjoyed myself.
So what's new this week? My laptop for work finally came in. I was expecting a 17" laptop from Sony or Toshiba, what I got was a 15" Dell Latitude D610. It's an upgrade from the IBM R40 that I was using, but not what I was expecting. So I guess I'll configure it for Macromedia Studio MX, PHP, and setup my IIS to see how fast it gets bogged down. The stats of the new laptop aren't worth mentioning, but I'll sum it up Centrino, 256MB (I wanted 1 GB), DVD burner (not necessary), Windows Professional. That's about it. It's all good though, it's free. Welp later.
